Medical Support for Cancer Patient Treatment for about 6 months - Needs

Dear family and friends,

As some of you may know, I've been battling breast cancer for several months now. I was diagnosed last February as having Stage 3C Triple Negative Breast Cancer, the most aggressive kind. After 5 cycles of chemo, my recent pet scan showed it has progressed to stage 4 with mets . It has been very difficult so far with all the drugs entering my system and all the needles piercing my body, plus the pain that doesn't seem to go away. But the most difficult of all is the funding for my treatment. I am forever grateful to family and friends who have been supporting me in this journey. Through their help, I've been directed to the right channels to secure guarantee letters from the government and I have received money to sustain my treatment. I also have prayers warriors from church who are constantly praying for my healing. However, with my cancer progressing at this stage, a new protocol has been suggested by my oncology doctor. He highly recommends having chemotherapy together with what they call the "miracle drug" Keytruda. This immunotherapy drug has shown great results among patients with late stage cancer, especially lung cancer and TNBC. Some have gone on remission while others show no evidence of disease after the treatment. However, this so called miracle drug comes at a very high price. One cycle costs about Php 98,000 and it is recommended to be used alongside the chemo meds every 3 weeks.

As a mother, I'd want to have a fighting chance in life in order to see my children's highs and lows and be there for them. Since the beginning of my treatment, that's all I've ever thought about and God has proven time and time again how He wants me healed and be with my family a bit longer. Hindi pa man ako humihingi ng tulong, may dumadating na. Inisiip ko pa lang, nangyayari na. With all these happening in my life, I always feel God's faithfulness. Sino ba naman ako para bumitiw sa buhay na inilalatag niya para sa akin at sa aking pamilya? Siya na ang gumagawa ng daan para ma sustain ko ang aking mga pangangailangan sa laban na ito.

I know that you, my family and friends, are God's instruments in helping me succeed in this fight. Therefore, I humbly ask that you support me in whatever way you can, big or small. Your prayers are very important as well. The more people praying for my cause, the more it will reverberate in the heavens.
